Each year, we come up with a single word that captures the essence of our year and highlights the dynamic that is pushing us to ever-greater impact. This year’s word? Collaboration. If you’re seeking to understand what made our fiscal year a historic success, look no further than collaboration.
In the past year, we’ve struck meaningful new partnerships with municipalities, corporate supporters, subcontractors, faith communities, nonprofits, and a host of other organizations. Each of these partnerships has moved us forward. Each has made us more effective. Each has increased our capacity to create change, to improve lives, and to build community. Simply put, many of the things we accomplished this year would not have happened were it not for these partners.
