We are back to Rock the Block in Lansing’s Old Town July 17-22!

WLNS-TV 6 spent time with Habitat Capital Region during the Women Build Rock the Block event in Old Town.

More than 300 volunteers worked together the week of May 2 on Habitat Capital Region’s Rock the Block neighborhood revitalization in Lansing’s Old Town.

The Habitat for Humanity Lansing and Greater Ingham County affiliated have merged to become Habitat for Humanity Capital Region, which serves all of Ingham County. The organization has had a presence in Greater Lansing for 28 years, helping more than 800 families improve their housing situations.

Exciting news! A family will be moving into our Habitat Build home on Forest Avenue in Lansing.

We partnered with the neighbors around our new build at 2118 Forest Avenue in Lansing to Rock the Block.

In addition to the new home construction project underway at 2118 Forest Avenue, Habitat for Humanity Lansing wants to partner with residents in the surrounding neighborhood.
