Community Outreach Liaison – AmeriCorps VISTA

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region is a not for profit housing organization that focuses on safe, decent, and affordable housing. Habitat Capital Region offers a wide variety of programs and services that work toward eliminating poverty housing.

The Community Outreach Liaison will assume responsibility for the creation and implementation of new and innovative ways to connect and engage with the community including financial partners/donors, potential clients, volunteers, and ReStore customers and donors. The position will be responsible for (1) creating or implementing outreach events in promotion of Habitat Capital Region services, volunteer opportunities, and sharing community impact, (2) strengthening the sweat equity management and engagement process and (3) growing ReStore performance by developing a procurement approach and relationships with vendors.
