Hometown Heroes

Subtle acts of service can have a large impact in someone else’s life: healthcare and essential service workers rising to the occasion, neighbors supporting vulnerable neighbors, and people building hope in their communities.

Habitat Capital Region will be accepting nominations of exceptional individuals or households from April 8th until April 23rd. The community will be invited to vote on the nominees through Habitat for Humanity Capital Region’s Facebook page from April 24th until April 30th . The top five nominees will be recognized for their service and thanked with a handcrafted wooden American flag made by Habitat Capital Region volunteer, Tom Mills.
