Expansion to Clinton County

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region Announces Strategic Expansion to Clinton County

Beginning in September 2023, Habitat for Humanity Capital Region’s service area will grow to include Clinton County.

As a result of the expansion, Habitat Capital Region will now serve a 1,700 square mile, three-county area with a mission to impact more families through their Homeownership, Repair, and Ramp programs.

Specifically, Habitat Capital Region will grow its geographic service area by over 50%, operate a third ReStore location in St. Johns, and most importantly, extend its programs to include communities like DeWitt, St. Johns, Ovid, Fowler, and others.

“Serving the entire tri-county area is a tremendous opportunity to grow the indelible mark we make on the Capital Region,” said Brent Taylor, Habitat Capital Region President & CEO. “Volunteerism, financial gifts, and advocacy will mean more than ever as we strive to serve more neighbors, in more communities, than ever before, and to do so with the same care, respect, and compassion that are the hallmarks of what we do.”
