A New Roof over Anita’s Head
Anita has lived in her home in Dansville for nearly twenty years. Five years ago, her roof developed a significant leak in the master bedroom. The roof needed to be replaced at that time, but she could not afford the work. Instead, she had the leak patched.
First Annual Heart of Habitat Gratitude Awards Celebrates Volunteers
The community gathered at the Breslin Center to celebrate everyone who volunteers their time and talent to the mission of Habitat Capital Region. Special recognition was given to eight volunteers and two corporate partners who were presented with Gratitude Awards recognizing their unique contributions in the last year.
Sharla Receives Keys to New Home
Sharla’s family, friends, new neighbors, and a whole community of Habitat Capital Region supporters gathered at her finished home for a traditional Habitat Home Dedication Ceremony where Sharla was presented with the keys to her new home before moving in this spring.
