every
year end gift

helps turn the dream of

homeownership into reality.

Brent's Letter to Habitat Capital Region Supporters

This has been an extraordinary year for Habitat for Humanity Capital Region, and it’s all because of you. Every nail, every wall raised, every family whose dream of homeownership came true was built on the foundation of your support.

In 2025, we reached milestones that show the power of partnership and the growing momentum of our mission. We broke ground on two new homes at once on Ingham Street — a first for Habitat Capital Region. This step forward in efficiency will pave the way for even more affordable home construction across our region.

Our Critical Home Repair and Ramp Programs continue to change lives, helping seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities remain safely in their homes. Just ask Roger in Mason, who now spends his afternoons in the sunshine thanks to a ramp built by our volunteers — or Silas in Haslett, a young man with cerebral palsy whose new ramp has given him freedom and independence he’s never known.

Looking ahead, 2026 will mark our most ambitious project yet: the Valencia Development. With your help, this nearly $2 million investment will transform a quiet neighborhood into a vibrant community of opportunity, with energy-efficient, accessible homes designed to last for generations.

Your generosity has carried us to a moment of growth, impact, and hope, but there is still more to do. Families across Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties are counting on us — and on you — to help make affordable housing not a dream, but a reality within reach.

As the year draws to a close, I invite you to make your most generous gift yet to Habitat Capital Region. Your support today builds homes, repairs critical structures, and restores dignity and stability for our neighbors tomorrow.

Can we count on your gift to help make 2026 our most impactful year yet?

Thank you for being a vital part of the Habitat Capital Region family. You are helping us build homes, communities, and hope right here at home.
