No one should have to endure the struggle, stress, and pain of being unable to access their home safely and independently.
Habitat for Humanity Capital Region's Ramp Crews have built over 800 ramps around Ingham and Eaton Counties in the past 25+ years. Long-time volunteers gather once or twice a week to dedicate their time and skills to help local people create safer and easier access to their homes.
The program serves people in Ingham and Eaton Counties. While volunteer labor to prepare and install the ramps is provided, the recipient is responsible for the cost of materials. Each ramp is customized to the location where it is installed, so the cost varies.
The 2019 ramp build season is currently full. Applications for ramps are still being accepted to be considered for the spring of 2020. To submit an application to Habitat Capital Region's the ramp program, please use this form.
