UPDATED MAY 25, 2021

Dear Habitat Capital Region community,

Since day one of this pandemic, Habitat for Humanity Capital Region’s priority has been the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, partners, and the people in the communities we serve. In keeping with CDC and MIOSHA guidelines, our COVID-19 mitigation efforts are now able to be reduced due to increased vaccination rates and lower infection rates nationwide and in our local community.

We are so grateful to see this pandemic coming to a close due to the hard work and sacrifices of so many people over the last 15 months to keep our communities safe. Thank you for your understanding as we move forward to keep our communities healthy and safe.

With sincerest gratitude,

Vicki Hamilton-Allen

President & CEO

Construction Sites

Our small but mighty construction team is working to continue providing essential services to people in need of critical home repairs, accessibility ramps, or a safe, decent, affordable place to live. They are applying stringent COVID-19 prevention safety measures to maintain a healthy work environment.

Volunteers

Virtual and in-person volunteering opportunities are available! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you can sign up to attend a virtual volunteer orientation here.

Habitat Homeowners

Like many Michiganders, many of our homeowners and partner families have been affected directly and indirectly by the pandemic. We are helping to connect them to resources in the community for assistance during this unprecedented time.

Please keep them all in your prayers.

Now, more than ever, we need your support to build a world where everyone has a safe and healthy place to call home. Donate today.
