Volunteers are the very foundation of Habitat for Humanity Capital Region! Each year, hundreds of individuals across Ingham County work toward building communities where everyone has safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Join Habitat Capital Region for a day of building on one of our construction sites. No experience is necessary! By working alongside our construction staff, regular volunteers, and homebuyers, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and help build homes and hope in the Ingham County community.
To get started, attend a volunteer orientation at our main office, located at 1941 Benjamin Drive in Lansing.
Organizations that partner with Habitat Capital Region are helping to eliminate poverty housing and build a stronger community. They commit donations and volunteers to help build, repair, and renovate homes alongside our hard-working, low-income homebuyers. Teams can work at a build site on home construction, repairs, or ramp installation or in one of our two Restore locations.
Corporations, businesses, faith partners, and community groups that partner with Habitat for Humanity Capital Region are helping to eliminate poverty housing and build stronger communities by sponsoring the construction and critical repairs of homes. By partnering with Habitat Capital Region, your organization will provide your employees/members with an enriching, team-building experience while also providing a crucial service and resources to low-income families.
