You're invited to join Habitat Capital Region in celebrating Rebellia's closing and the completion of our 135th Habitat home in the greater Lansing area! The Habitat Home Dedication Ceremony with the homebuyer family will take place at Rebellia's future home on February 1, 2025.
The event celebrates the Habitat homebuyers - Rebellia and her four children - and the many people and organizations that made this affordable homeownership opportunity possible.
This house is a Habitat Capital Region rehabilitation project, donated by University of Michigan Health-Sparrow. It would not have been possible without the hospital's support! Rebellia will purchase her home through the Habitat Capital Region Homeownership Program.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the house and congratulate Rebellia after the ceremony.

About Rebellia
After 14 years in a cramped rental home with flooding and health concerns, Rebellia and her four kids are eager to be first-time homeowners. Matched to the first house donated by the hospital, she is deeply involved in the renovation efforts and exceeded her sweat equity requirement.
Rebellia will be the first person in her family to own a home. She is most excited about having a spacious kitchen where she and her kids can all fit and continue their favorite tradition – cooking together as a family. As she looks to the future, Rebellia said, “My Habitat home will bring my family closer and give us balance to really start living."
We are so happy to see her making her dreams come true as she purchases her Habitat home with an affordable mortgage! Help us celebrate Rebellia's accomplishment at her Home Dedication at her future home on Saturday, February 1st, 2025.
