A Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a store that builds homes.
The Habitat ReStores in Lansing, St Johns, and Williamston, Michigan, are nonprofit thrift stores and donation centers that exist to help local families build decent, affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity Capital Region.
When you donate and shop for new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building supplies at a Habitat Capital Region ReStore, the proceeds help build and repair homes in your community.
Here’s how it works
You donate home goods and building materials to the ReStore.
Items are sold to the public at a great low price.
Shoppers and Donors help keep good, usable materials out of the landfill.
100% of ReStore proceeds help build and repair homes in your community.
ReStore inventory is donated by people just like you. When your donated items are sold, the proceeds help Habitat for Humanity Capital Region create safe, stable, and affordable housing with local families in need. At the ReStore, your donations and purchases make an impact for generations to come.
Habitat ReStores are a key part of how Habitat for Humanity is able to offer families and individuals the strength, stability, and self-reliance that comes with owning a safe, decent, affordable home.
“The ReStore is more than just a home improvement store. It’s a community improvement store.”
